Dead Twitter Threads #5 — Digging on CDC’s Covid Deaths BS, Part 2

Post-Mortem

Twitter suspended my account at the beginning of this year; but I have a few threads from 2020 that I want to re-post here under Devolution.
I’ll call them the Dead Twitter Files

This was my Twitter 2-part thread to try and untangle the crap CDC data regarding COVID-19 deaths.  Of course it was garbage, as we all know now beyond a shred of doubt, the CDC could not accurately report it, because the whole pandemic was a scam from start to finish.

In Part 2 below, I look at the data spewed by CDC and other self-anointed authoritative sources and compare with data from Iowa’s official State Tracker.

That said, I don’t blame President Trump at all, in fact, the way I see it, the Globalists had set Trump in a modern day Gordian Knot trap. Like Alexander the Great, Trump cut through their scamdemic by shoving Fauci and Birx front and center to tell the world how to handle this “pandemic”. That was unanticipated and it wasn’t long before these two clowns started tripping over their own advice. For those paying attention, that was the first positive tell.

Next he launched Operation Warp Speed — Using the resources of the federal government and the U.S. private sector, to accelerate the testing, supply, development, and distribution of safe and effective vaccines, therapeutics, and diagnostics to counter COVID-19 by January 2021. That further stressed the long-planned hoax and more cracks appeared. The globalists had planned on locking down for several years before introducing their vaccine and now they had to deliver before the 2020 elections.

There were other clues that Trump dropped, especially the therapeutics like HCQ etc. Of course, Big Tech and Fake News swung into action to protect the big lie. But ultimately, it is up to each of us to educate ourselves and figure out what is truth. This is not a task left to others to tell us what to do and think.

Especially for Christians, we are told in 2 Timothy 2:15 “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” It can’t be any plainer than that. The onus is wholly on us to figure it out. We have no one to blame if we meekly obeyed dictates from corrupt authorities and suffered as a result. As for pastors who obeyed, without question or even civic disobedience, orders to cease worshiping, they have forgotten key tenets such as Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Or the Apostle Peter’s reply, when ordered to stop preaching, in Acts 5:29 “Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.” In any case, they will answer to God one day as to how they misguided their flock. And yes, I am calling out Franklin Graham for falsely assuming Jesus would take the vax.

As for the argument that Christians ought not to “be of the world even though we are in it“, or as pResident Oboobie often claimed we ought to practice our religion only within the 4 walls of our church and shut up about it in the public space, I call BS. Our government was formed from the beginning to govern only with the consent of the people. Are not American Christians part of, if not mostly, We-the-People?

Then by all means, of course we ought to let our faith inform not only our world view, but inform the government as to how it ought to behave. The so-called “separation of Church and State is a one-way street… The government has no right to tell us how we ought to worship, nor “establishing a religion”, but We-the-People have every right AND responsibility to ensure the government respect our unalienable rights, pandemic notwithstanding.

So without further ado, here is Part 2…

In Part 1, I located CDC data and tried to make sense of it all.  It’s confusing and just as I was working my way through it, the CDC revamped the datasets.  So I had to scrap all the work I did to “cleanse” the original data.  I then started over and broket down in Part 2.

I downloaded the data daily (M-F) for the whole month of May and most of June.  I did a very short Part 3, but didn’t archive it, as I basically wrote that there were no new insights — all garbage, but I’d continue monitoring in case something changed.  Then I scaled it back to just doing a weekly download.

By the end of August 2020, I saw no point in continuing as it was all bogus.  The proof is that between 2016 and 2019, when one looks at the annual “excess” deaths, there’s a slight upward trend, merely a function of a growing and aging population.  But the total deaths for all of 2020 is actually just a tad over 2019.  And compared to other causes of death, COVID-19 is a nothingburger.

So without further ado, here is Part 1.

 1)… Part 2 (09 May 2020).

Click to read Part 1 here…

Last Saturday, I went looking on CDC’s site looking for updates. As you may recall, I had an issue with New York State vs City. On a different page, I got confirmation that NYS does not include NYC.

2)…What I can’t find is the definitive death count due to #Covid_19?

Anyhoo, decided to focus on Iowa, as it is a state w/republican governor & didn’t have a stay at home order and reporting website is clear with an assortment of datapoints. As of 09May, only 252 IA COVID deaths.

3)… From CDC, as mentioned in previous thread, the 08May update had duplicate entries for all datapoints.

Upon closer look, 1 set is “as of 07May”, 2nd is “as of 08May”. Hmm, since I have a set for 06May, why not merge & see what we get? OK, it jibes w/daily updates.

4)… CDC says that depending on States,

it takes several weeks for numbers to stabilize. With Iowa, looks like 2 weeks… Week ending 18Apr remain unchanged, while week ending 25Apr & 02May (see #3 above) increases and juxtaposed below.

Meaning, even as the weeks progress, CDC is continuously updating previous weeks as new data continues to trickle in.

5)… What else can we glean from CDC’s

“Provisional COVID-19 Death Counts by Week Ending Date and State”, data.cdc.gov/NCHS/Provision… ?

A running count, week by week. The cumulative count, according CDC is 116/0/741 or 857 if all 3 columns are added. Arrgh. But IA’s website says already 252 deaths.

6)…There’s another CDC dataset,

“Provisional COVID-19 Death Counts by Place of Death & State”(updated weekly) data.cdc.gov/NCHS/Provision…

8 categories for ‘places of death’. Again, filtering only for Iowa. But these numbers don’t match the prior image, 111 here vs 116 above (updated daily, M-F)

7)… That concludes my research from Saturday, 09May.

What irks me is I don’t know what CDC considers to be the definitive death count.
I’ll monitor CDC for the next few days, waiting for updates.

8)…BTW, here are 2 screenshots from Iowa’s site, as of 10May.

9…Waiting for CDC to update…

@JackPosobiec flagged several states which had policies ordering nursing homes to accept infected COVID patients — this was discussed elsewhere for past couple of weeks, but since I have the dataset, let’s looksee.

10)…Before we get into the above.

Let’s talk about definitive numbers, to whit; where are Fake News getting their numbers?

Google as of 0936 on 11May2020 lists 80.6k deaths from COVID-19, google.com/search?q=total…But where did Google get their numbers?

11)… Google got it from Wikipedia, eyeroll.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:…

I’ve attached screenshots of their table template, footnotes and references.

So where did Wikipedia get their numbers from?

13)… I’ve discussed the CDC datasets above,

but what about JHU’s source?

CDC sez all states report to them eventually, but JHU apparently gets/scrapes their data from the individual States/Counties/Cities websites. No mention of reporting agencies providing it to them

14)…If anyone can provide me the sauce to the definitive death counts,

it would be much appreciated.

Back to the CDC’s “by Places of Death” (POD) dataset. data.cdc.gov/NCHS/Provision…
As explained before, CDC’s COVID death count data leaves much to be desired.

15)…I’ve tried several ways of adding/subtracting the columns to bring me close to 66k as reported by #FakeNews as of 02May.

Looking at USA with 8 categories for POD.

To get % of deaths by places…
Column A = Columns (M-K) / I(Total Deaths)
Col B = Cols (M-K-H) / I

16)… As you can see,

the first manipulation is too low and the second is too high.
But let’s look at the suspect Dem States (CA, MI, NJ, NY, PA) where COVID patients were dumped into Nursing Homes vs GOP states FL, GA, IA, ID, ND, TX.
Of course, negative % is garbage…

17)…Back to drawing board, starting with USA only…

To get % of deaths by places…
Column A = Columns (H+(M-J-L)+K) / I (Total Deaths)
Col B = Cols (H+K+M) / I

As you can see from the scratch results on Row 444, both are way too high.

18)… Using #17’s construct;

let’s look at the suspect Dem States (CA, MI, NJ, NY, PA) where COVID patients were dumped into Nursing Homes vs GOP states FL, GA, IA, ID, ND, TX.

Ratio-wise, the Dem states are high while GOP states are low.

19)… The blogosphere has pointed out for awhile that #CDC is rolling up anything that may be COVID related,

or even suspected as having #COVIDー19  COVID positive as a COVID death.
What if we ignore all underlying causes and focus only on USA COVID deaths as reported?

20)…Using #19’s construct;

look at the suspect Dem States (CA, MI, NJ, NY, PA) where COVID patients were dumped into Nursing Homes vs GOP states FL, GA, IA, ID, ND, TX
Dem states are high while GOP states are low.

21)… I expanded #20 for all 54 States and Localities.

Bear in mind, each is a % of the same line item.

Going further, I did an Excel SUMIFS function, to return a % of Nursing Home Deaths for that State’s total COVID (8 categories each) Deaths.

I’ll update all when CDC updates
